I did pretty well, but there is definitely room for improvement. I need to get out of the bad habit of procrastinating. This class is by no means is easy, it has taught me to stay on track with assignments. I will organize my time and spend more time on problems I struggle with.
Chapter 4 in LabSim has really helped me outside of school. Section 4.2.9 Document Tips has helped me at work, where I am occasionally printing out labels. Keeping the fonts the same and having borders makes the labels pop nicely.
I prepared for the upcoming MO-110 Word certification exam by working on the live projects until I felt like I had grasped the information and was able to finish it in a timely manner.
I would like to share with the world that I hope Barcelona wins the La Liga Title. We have a very strong team this year.
At the time of my comment, your team is leading La Liga in the title race. May your hope come true :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear 4.2.9 Document Tips really helped you outside of school ^_^
You will get out of your bad habit of procrastinating and finish IS101-3205, Spring 2025 strong, Yahir!
Hey Yahir,
ReplyDeleteI really liked your post, it’s awesome how you’re reflecting on your habits and making a plan to improve. Procrastination is something I’ve been working on too, and you’re right, this class really keeps you accountable with the weekly pace.
It’s cool that 4.2.9 Document Tips actually helped you at work! I never thought label formatting would connect back to what we’re doing in LabSim, but it makes total sense. Clean fonts and borders really do make a difference. ^-^
I feel you—this class really pushed me to stay on track too. I’m honestly the queen of procrastination, but I’m working on it! ๐ I love that you’re able to use what you learned in Chapter 4 at work; I found that section super helpful too. Wishing you the best on the MO-110 exam—I’m sure you crushed it! And hey, good luck to Barcelona—hope they bring that La Liga title home!
ReplyDeleteHey Yahir, I also deal with procrastination and have a hard time starting on the course material. However, I need to get out of it because it is crucial to have time managed when completing IS101-3205. Good luck with the rest of the course.
ReplyDeleteProcrastination can be such a hard habit to break out of, especially if you are a successful procrastinator, hahaha. The workload of classes can make procrastinating feel like a nice little break until all the work has to be done. The live projects were such a big help for the last exam and I am sure it will be a big help this time as well.
ReplyDeleteHi Yahir! I still catch myself procrastinating, but I’m working on breaking that bad habit and trying to stay ahead to make things easier for me. Practicing with the live projects definitely helped me and I always try to repeat until I feel confident. I will be rooting for Barcelona this year for you!
ReplyDeleteHi Yahir! Procrastination is the worst, it is quite a hard slump to overcome, but recognizing the issue and putting in the work to defeat it is admirable. Glad that you can reinforce the material to work. My brother and I also hope Barcelona takes it this year too!
ReplyDeleteHello Yahir,
ReplyDeleteI feel you procrastinating when it comes to getting assignments done because that right there can create unwanted stress that you could have avoided.
Finishing the MO-110 promptly was one thing I needed to practice, and redoing LabSim assignments allowed me to get faster and remember certain things that took me longer to get down.
Sounds like you’re making solid progress! Kicking the procrastination habit is tough, but it’s great that you’re already focusing on organizing your time better. I think it’s awesome that Chapter 4 actually helped you with real tasks at work that’s when you know the skills are sticking! Good luck on the MO-110 exam, and fingers crossed for Barcelona let’s hope they bring the title home this year!
ReplyDeleteI have a really bad habit with procrastination, too. It can be very challenging breaking that habit but it will definitely be beneficial. I am glad that you have found a way to utilize the tasks from IS101 into your work life. The live projects and practice exams are the best way to prepare for the certification exams!
ReplyDeleteHey Yahir, I don't think this class is hard, but it does require time management, and staying on track is important. To prepare for the exams, I plan on redoing LabSims until I feel comfortable. Wishing you the best!
ReplyDeleteGreat reflection! It's awesome that you're recognizing areas to improve like procrastination, it’s something many of us deal with. Sounds like you’ve really gained a lot from the class, especially with time management and practical skills like formatting documents.
ReplyDeleteHey, lastly I have high expectations for Barcelona this season. Visca Barca!!
Hi Yahir, I too have a habit of procastinating, who doesn't right? But its not a great idea to do that in this class, and I am realizing that now.
ReplyDeleteHi Yahir, I really had the same issue too, procrastinating is something I struggle with a lot but found that if I mix up my assignments with something fun in between or just doing something to keep the work interactive and interesting it always helps. I also think a change of environment helps too!
ReplyDeleteStaying on track makes things so much easier, I know working and having a personal life makes it harder but now I know what to focus on for my next semester. The live projects are extremely helpful for the exams.
